'How long have you had these droids?'

As usual the troopers of Nordic Garrison and Nordic Outpost will be at SSGFC having fun and collecting money for Barncancerfonden.

As well as our usual photo stand, where you can have your photo taken with Sith Lords, Bounty Hunters and Imperial troopers, we will also be introducing a new element to our display. For the first time in Sweden we are going to run a Droid Hunt. This fun game has been highly successful at Star Wars Celebration and Comic Con events so we hope it’ll add a new dimension for the SSGFC visitors.

To play you collect a game card from our information area which you then hang around your neck so that it is clearly visible to patrolling troopers. If a trooper spots your badge they will stop you and interrogate you about the whereabouts of some missing droids. You will then be given a numbered ticket in exchange for your game card. Be on the look out for Rebel sympathisers who may be handing out Jedi Mind Trick cards which you can use to confuse the troopers and stay in the game for longer!

Once your card has been handed in, you are free to return to our stand and get a new one. At 1600 on Saturday we will pick the winners at random from all the numbered tickets. You will have to be at our stand to collect your prize in person and you will have to have your ticket with you.

The game is free and we’ll be giving away some very nice early Christmas presents sponsored by our friends at Hasbro. If you want to get involved then please drop by our stand and talk to one of our supporters in our information area.

“These aren’t the droids you’re looking for!”
