Laila Natali Wahlgren, born Cahling 15 December 1972 in Lund (Sweden), formerly Laila Bagge, is a Swedish songr writer, singer and manager. She worked for Sony BMG in New York for 3 years scouting for talents. Her mother is Swedish and her dather is from Palestine. She has a son adn is married to Niclas Wahlgren.
She found the members of and started the pop band Play. Play signed with Sony BMG in New York and sold close to 1 million albums. Laila has written songs for Céline Dion, 98Degrees, 702 and Maya. In 2007 she started 2 companies with Anders Bagge and Andreas Carlsson: Meriola Media Group AB and Meriola Songs AB.
Laila was one third of the Swedish Idol jury during 2008 and 2009. In 2009 she competed in Let's Dance with Tobias Wallin. They finished second after Magnus Samuelsson and Annika Sjöö. Laila has also worked as an artist. In 1998 she released the album "Hello Laila" on Motown Records. The album contained amon other the single Here We Go Again.
During 2009 Laila also took part in the TV show 'Made in Sweden' where she, Andreas Carlsson and Anders Bagge tried to fins two new artists. They found Kim and Janet. During the second season, aired early 2010, Laila's old pop group Play did a comeback.
Laila was earlier married to Anders Bagge, but is now married to Niclas Wahlgren who also took part in Let's Dance 2009 where they met.
Laila also played the part of Laila Cahling in 'Bert – den siste oskulden'. She dance with Benny Frisk.
She used to dance jazz and balett during her early years.
