Re: 18705 and 99114s TX thread
I snap'd together butt and kidney plate and I tried to tape on the back piece to check how it all fits.
And I put on the snaps over the shoulders so back n chest are now together.
My legs are quite big so the knee plate more or less goes under the thigh part lol. Quite annoying tho but I can walk without problem.
And the pipe I bought fits well to the end caps.

Todays mission, attaching shoulder bells to shoulder strap part. Done.
Realised I probably need more snaps so gotta fix more... But I'll see later on.
Next up, connecting biceps to shoulder bells!

02 Canister at the moment:
20cm long, is that okey? My Snowtrooper is 18cm long.
If not, I'll just shorten it a bit more, hehe.
And tomorrow I'll probably get the shoes, found some "jodhpur shoes" for a good price at a store not far from my village.
Approvable according to the CML so let's hope they still got my size haha.
My holster is on the way! Shipped from USA so fingers crossed it arrives next week.
Just one problem at the moment, I need a sewing machine lol, I know my grandmother had one when she lived but I don't know if it still works, I need to check it out.
It looks like I'm gonna, if everything goes well, get the costume done this summer... Quite a lot before I was original planning since I though of autumn/winter lol.

See if you can't clean them up with a q-tip (örontops) and some white spirit (thinner).
If you use a template you have to seal it first with some clear coat (klarlack).

After I tried on the armour with boots on I realised I have to redo my thighs and use wider strips on the front.
So as we say in sweden, "gör om, gör rätt".
Well... I learn something new every day.

Or even better, use the template, draw the lines with a pen (blyerts), remove the template, paint with a brush. The templates, if they're from trooperbay, just don't work...18705 wrote:Ah yes thanks for the tip!52583 wrote: See if you can't clean them up with a q-tip (örontops) and some white spirit (thinner).
