Is anyone interested in black boots for his/her imperial costume?
In Linköping a store
http://www.hookseurope.com/product.aspx ... tid=200055
has a sale of three black riding boots size 43, 44 & 45
For just 75:- Sek.
Anyone interested send me a PM or post here and I'll be able to pick up before we leave for Malmö SSFGC

Well, well... *thinking*
That's almost a horse-head-in-bed-deal.
If you're going that way anyway and it's no bother for you I could use a size 43.
75:- SEK is just crazy cheap.
(If they don't have 43 left for that price I'd be happy for size 44)

These are strictly speaking not approvable for a 501st costume. Personal experience also states that they are not very troopworthy.

Ok, this is what the CRL says:
Officer Boots
For 501st approval:
Knee-high, black, lace-less, non-textured, leather or leather-like material. Rubber is not acceptable.
For level two certification (if applicable):
Boots must not have a visible zipper.
For level three certification (if applicable):
Boots must be leather, not vinyl or PVC, and be exact replicas of English riding (dress) boots. Boots have conservative heels.
So how are theese not acceptable?
I don't know anything about trooping in theese, just wanted to be helpfull....
I'll need to know before 15:00, so let me know if you really want them.

For 75 SEK I'll take my chances. If they're not working out one way I'm sure I can use it for something else.

I have checked with IOC forum... they are acceptable if you just remove the little tag at the top
