Darth Revan

Post by 88561 » 04 Dec 2014, 21:47

Just got my Darth Revan (revan) armour in the mail, and have the soft parts ready and waiting, so hopefully the Nordic Legion will have another member soon :)
Next builds are already under way (clone trooper (rex) and jawa (jawa) )

Looking forward to getting my lightsaber, although the one I have ordered isn't really Revan style, so I may need to get another.
How strict are the weapon rules?

most weapons are accesories, and not needed for approval.

My mask keep fogging up, any tips?
The outfit is awaiting approval, and after trying it on a few times, all I need to do now are small tweaks for some of the soft parts, to avoid gaps and showing the underwear unnecessarily.

I thought that would smell awful, but seems like there's several options used for normal glasses that could work. Will try it out :)

Looking good there!

As for the fogging problem, you can try just some spit on the lens. It is the usual tric used by scuba divers around the world. Saliva does the same work as anti foggin stuff, but is always with you, and does not cost anything. Apply with fingers, smooth it on the lens, and you are GO.

And, when trooping, breathe through the nose, to prevent moisture glogging up the mask. Open mouth also instils hyperventilation, which makes things more difficult.

That could work too.
I'm considering adding more padding to the inside of the mask for a more comfortable fit, and that may help with fogging too.
