Stormtrooper sound system

Post by 10879 » 13 Jan 2017, 14:33

Just having gotten my 501st and Nordic Garrison approval as a ANH stormtrooper I am obviously psyched and ready to improve my costume. First on my list is a sound system.

I know there are good sources on whitearmor.net, but I wanted to hear what the Nordic troopers are using and how you got hold of it. Are there any good sources/options in Europe or Scandinavia?

Any general tips and/or dos and don'ts?

Well, for the Romfx sound system, there is on for sale at the moment here; viewtopic.php?f=171&t=11550

You will still need an Aker to put the sounds out, they come with microphones and charges included via Ebay sellers on China. Takes long time to get, but they are about 30e per set, from there.

With those you are set on sounding like TK
'Use the sense, it is a force attribute. Common as it is, among us all.'

I personally use Ukswraths hovi mic tip sound system on mine and love it. Can find him on whitearmor. Net

Hovi mic tip sound system isn't a bad idea at all. He's selling his system with the ICOMM setup also.

That system looks pretty neat and is tempting, although the full package cost close to half of what it cost me getting the armor itself :-p

Do you have the rechargeable amp or the one with 9v battery?

I have with rechargable battery. You will need to get a new AC adapter to it, as the one he sends is a 2 flat socket standard US one, insteadofthe standard 2 round pins we use, but getting a new AC adapter isnt hard to get.

Great feedback from UK members. Pretty much a modded aker with
all the stuff in it.

I'm using romFX and aker amp, and I'm really happy with that.

So TK10879... I know you have had your Tramp system some time now.

Are you happy with it?
